International Student Orientation and Dates
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) offers various programs designed to assist foreign
students and scholars with adjustment to life in the United States
and Chapel Hill. The introductory session provides an
overview of important immigration regulations as well as specific academic, health, safety and legal issues
that pertain to international students.
The International Student Orientation Programs normally occur just before classes begin. As soon as the dates and locations of the orientation sessions are scheduled, we will post them below. If your specific orientation session is TBD (to be determined), please check again at a later date as we will post the information as soon as it is available. Note:
All new international students are required to attend their specific orientation program as listed below:
