Would you like to know more about international students, new cultures and countries, befriend an international student? The programs described in this section were designed to provide opportunities for you to meet and welcome international students and help them in their adjustment to a new culture and new surroundings.

The program most popular with students is the Orientation Counselor Program. The Class of 38 Summer Fellowship Abroad Program for U.S. sophomores and juniors offers funding for sophomore and junior U.S. Students to pursue an independent project in another country.

Class of '38
The UNC-Chapel Hill Alumni Class of 1938 annually awards summer study abroad fellowships to U.S. students interested in pursuing independent career or personal projects outside the United States.
